My goodness, I love this class! This walking group has existed for many years and I have moved between occasional attendance to regular attendance over the years. Fresh air, exercise and good company, and close to home with coffee afterward. Excellent community fostering.
I have walked with Walkers and Talkers for many years. Pam. our leader, ably leads us on various routes starting from the Livingston Community Centre. Depending on weather conditions we may walk through Darebin Parklands or local streets, perhaps admiring gardens, birds or architecture along the way. The post walk coffee is the icing on the cake! It is a great benefit that Livingston Community Centre is able to oversee the running of the group.
The walks and the company are terrific , I love that we walk from the hall , no hassles about driving somewhere , Pam does a wonderful job giving us a variety of walks around Ivanhoe and Eaglemont , and then a destination of a coffee at the end is the perfect walk for me
